Octatrack MKII Anniversary Edition

Certainly, unless @Brandonsarkis sold it to an Elektronaut.
For it to appear striked, you can use two tilde ‘~’ symbols before and after the number.

I did but I forget who it was…

Looks like it was @Rabban if my PMs are to be believed.

I am from the great state of Connecticut.

I read over in the Octatrack MK3 thread that Ricky Tinez stopped using his AE for whatever reason: Will there be Octatrack MK3 anytime soon? - #916 by stankeev

I will continue to use mine even if people consider it some form of collector item. It’s a fantastic machine for making music.

I love the gray industrial look of my original Mkii, but I also love the red REC-buttons on my Anniversary edition.

So… I had to do what no one had done before. As my username obliges.

If anyone here knows someone or is looking themselves Perfect Circuit has a used Anniversary Edition up for grabs :

2k is that the actual 2nd hand prices or is it a bit expensive ?

I’ve seen them on Reverb for less. PC used gear tends to be overpriced in my experience.

Way overpriced I‘d say. There’s one sitting on Kleinanzeigen for 1.750€ since August 2023. Apparently, very few people are willing to pay that premium for three colored buttons, even more unlikely for over 2.000€.

Yes, i think so. Even 1750e seems a lot

Just scored an Octatrack AE, it was a fair price, and personally it was the AE hype that finally made me take actual notice instead of looking the other way for ten years, but was at the time I was unable to secure one when they went on sale, so when my friend said he was going sell his (had not been taken out of the box) I quickly sold my MKII and nabbed it.
Some may say fanboy, and they’d be right I have a pretty nice Elektron collection, no Digi’s yet tho.

Welcome aboard

Yesterday I had a terrible moment trying to edit a sample on a mk1. Totally lost my muscle memory, Mk2 is so much better!
Had to admit though that mk1 is amazing with its simple face, and so many stuff behind…

What’s your number, btw?

Thanks, I’ve loved the MKII it’s been an invaluable addition.
The AE’s number is 331
