Octatrack MK2 trig buttons double pressing

Hi, when I’m switching banks, my trig buttons are registering double presses. So basically when I switch my bank, before I have the option to choose my pattern it’s already selected a pattern. So if I’m changing to bank C, I see the “select your pattern” screen for like a millisecond and then it selects pattern C. These double presses don’t happen in mute mode or other modes so not sure if it’s SW or HW but definitely annoying. Any suggestions?

I had an A4 that had double-pressing trigs. No idea why, but a firmware update sorted it out. It wasn’t mentioned as a thing fixed in the release notes though, so not sure if that’s what did it.

So make sure you’re on the latest, I guess? Or maybe update the firmware again just to kind of reset things?

Ah ok. Am on the latest firmware but I’ll give that a shot. On my old MPCs I used to use deoxit a lot for contacts that weren’t working right anymore, but I’m hesitant to spray into the octatrack. Is it worth a shot or not a great idea?

I’ve never had a switch problem with mx-style switches (which I believe is what :3lektron: uses) that deoxit fixed. But then there are those on the internet that swear by it, so :man_shrugging:

Hopefully someone who’s tried it will share their experience.
