Ah, the neglected bastard step child of the Elektron lineup. The genius in the corner getting no attention. It will never be the Dynamic Performance Sampler that it was destined to be, because sadly it has to be stopped just to confirm that the correct measure is selected. And thus the music is always stopped as is the groove and the good times. No, it has become a Static Cessation Sampler. Although those who had invested in it had loved it, they were deeply saddened that it had been ignored for so long and never developed.

Seriously though, the OT2 was pretty expensive and this really needs to be addressed.

Also, Static Cessation Sampler has a nice ring to it. Too bad itā€™s exactly what you donā€™t want.

Iā€™m sitting here laughing because I thought I had this really unique form of red-slightly redder colour blindness.

Glad to hear an update is in the works, there are a couple of annoying bugs that it would be good to squash on the machine.

IĀ“d really like to see yellow or green as page indicator. Not sure itĀ“s just a red led on the other Elektrons, OT has multicolor leds there. But even it theyĀ“d only bring this to the OT, many peeps use OT to send transport and clock to other devices, soā€¦

Itā€™s really difficult to tell what page(bar, measure, maybe this was the confusing part?) youā€™re on when the sequencer is running, so I always end up pressing stop, cycling to the correct page, placing trigs and pressing play again. Obviously not the end of the world for writing tracks, but in real time itā€™s kind of a bummer. On every other Elektron box I have with a sequencer (7 of them, dang) itā€™s way easier to distinguish whatā€™s happening with the pages.

Kind of embarrassing to be honest, it should have been prioritized since itā€™s a vital function of the UI.

Itā€™s this kind of crap when manufacturer doesnā€™t have enough pride in their products to pay attention to the details and telling their paying customers itā€™s by design.

I do not expect new features being added over time in products cycle time. Itā€™s a nice bonus if does get new features, what I do expect is that they fix their mistakes.

Ah, I see! Yeah, I got confused by the term ā€˜measureā€™.

Luckily, I donā€™t have to stop the machine, I just press the page button multiple times which helps me distinguish between bright/half bright led.

Flicking through the pages is not ideal either, not as bad as having to stop the sequencer, though ofc!

Revamped AR and A4 but still no LED fix

I really canā€™t understand why the LED problem has still not been resolved!
My girlfriend has bought a model:samples and here everything works without any problems. Is it really that difficult to update?

**Active part in which I edit the steps: a glowing LED. **
**Current step of the sequencer: flashing LED. **
Just like with Model: Samples.

I think it would be very kind if someone from Elektron could comment on why this error is not or cannot be eliminated?
