In the manual it mentions that under the AMP / Envelope section (11.4.6 AMP Setup) FX1 and FX2 can be trigger by the envelope, namely the “multi mode filter” and the “amp modulator”.
Being that there is no effect called “amp modulator” is this referring to the amplitude modulation within the LoFi effect or something else?

Yep, it refers to the AM section of the Lofi effect.

Could definitely hear the interaction with the filter, now time to play with this to learn and get a feel for the interaction with the Lo-FI AM.
If you have any tips for using it with the AM, would be more than appreciated.
In a way on the surface it seems redundant or like an additional LFO for Volume/amplitude??
FX SETUP 2 > set Phase different from OFF 
Otherwise it doesn’t work. Select your favorite phase : 0, 90, 180, 270…
90 and 270 keeps attack.
AM speed is synced to BPM.
Edit : just made new tests, doesn’t seem synced in fact.
Sine wave, apparently faster, so its different imho.
