Hi everyone. New to the forum and new to Elektron.
I’ve just purchased the Octatrack and I’m a bit of an issue. When I loaded the soundcard with the presets, they are distorted. The first time I turned it on it was fine, it was only the second time I encountered it. I only turned it off when the memory card led was static so I don’t know what I may have done to cause this.
Has anyone else had this issue?
have you tried previewing them directly ? you can do so by pressing Function and Yes whilst in the sample selection page.
also there is a tick box in the preferences menu to preview without any effects, make sure this is set up right.
my guess is the distortion is coming from one of the gain stages or an effect being set wrong.
Presuming Effect 1 is set to ‘Filter’ - double-press ‘Effect 1’ on one of the distorted channels and check whether filter distortion is turned up. I have made this mistake before and it confused the shiz out of me for a good 30 mins

Same thing here and bow no sound at all…reinitialized the Presets…???
