This seems to be more of a problem with the Vermona to me, lots of gear transmits clock when stopped and most devices that recieve midi clock should have internal logic to only output clock when the master device is running, are you sure that there are no settings or firmware update for the Vermona?
Yeah, really it should either have internal logic to stop its clock when there is no transport or have explicit run & reset outs.
I agree, I was in a hurry to solve the issue, and I found this way because I had zCLOCK in my rack, recently I wrote an email to Vermona team but I did not have an answer yet, it will be much easier to have Vermona to understand when the master gear is stopped or played.
Thank you for your comment.
Hopefully they will recognise that this could be a problem for many users and issue a firmware update, it seems a bit strange that they did not consider this when the product was being developed, kind of a no brainer
Sure ! It was strange for me as well as strange for me that I cannot stop the clock out of OCTATRACK when the sequencer is stopped. I spent 3 days to find a solution :// and finally with zClock I found it today, thanks God I know this guy who manufacture this module - he sent me new firmware today - it was not possible to stop the clock either. But he added ConstantClock (on/off) feature.
