Octatrack Banks question…again!

Hi there! Yep, another Banks topic, maybe is already solved so please address me to the solution thread.
Ok, I have my project with static machines for backing tracks. When I change banks, the current playing track stops on the new banks even if the new sample is correctly loaded. I have to “arm all” again in order to make every tracks play otherwise the tracks that were playing before just doesn’t make any sounds. Any suggestions please? Thank you!

Pretty sure there is a setting in the main project>personalise menu you can set/disable the arm requirements?

Sounds like you need to change the “starts silent” setting.

Also, check if “plays free” is enabled. It shouldnt be by the sounds of what you want.

Also, ‘arm track’ is for one shot trigs. Are you using one shot trigs?

Thanks for reminding me of this option, I’ve got a thing cooking that was confusing me when changing banks but that’s probably the option I need.

Thank you guys for your comments. Yes I’m using one shot trigs. I’ve tried with disable start silent but nothing change. Also through the menu preferences and personalize but can’t find the proper option so far…

Well theres your answer.
One shot trigs need to be armed. Check the manual for further clarification.

Personalize menu -

DISABLE YES/NO ARM will when checked disable the one shot trig arming and disarming when simply pressing [YES] or [NO]. Note that when this arm/disarm functionality is disabled, the same
functionality can be achieved by pressing [FUNC] + [YES] or [FUNC] + [NO]. Read more about one shot trigs in section “12.4.5 ONE SHOT TRIGS” on page 66.

?

As you suggested guys, I’ve find more info on the manual (sorry for not be able to find out these informations by myself).
From the manual: “If a track contains several one shot trigs, all one shot trigs of that track will be disarmed once one of the one shot trigs has been activated by the sequencer. This extends to the tracks of other patterns as well. If a one shot trig has been trigged on track 1 of pattern A01, any one shot trigs on the first track of patterns A02-P16 will also be disarmed”. And that’s why IMO the led of the one shot trig of the second bank is blinking, like is waiting to be launched.
Ok, not very funny but I think it makes sense to have to “manually launched” the one shot trigs. So i will use “YES” to arm tracks every time changing from bank to bank. Thank you guys for support!!
