I wonder if I can pick you brains.
I just bought a Korg Volca Keys to travel this summer with my Octatrack. When I follow online advice (mainly videos0 or how to set up to get Octatrack triggering external devices, i cannot get it to play notes on the Keys. I can get sound. I can also get the Keys to play its sequences in time with the Octa MIDI clock,; but CANNOT get the Keys to play notes in response to Octa chromatic mode, or ARP mode.
The Keys does work with an external sequencer - I tested it with my Doepfer Dark Time. Any tips would be most welcome; I know that on the Octa often success is only a setting change away|!

One never knows: send notes =on? And a midi send channel is assigned to the track? (midi note setup, double tap source button and don’t forget to push the encoder to validate!)…

With the right activate channel and default settings chromatic / arp should work.
Velocity has to be different from 0, otherwise notes are not sent.
MIDI > CONTROL > AUDIO NOTES OUT you mean?
This is for audio tracks chromatic mode only (audio tracks notes are unfortunately not sent via midi by the sequencer).
Ok, my bad… I thought it was a global midi filter.
