Here’s a track that I made using the Octatrack, Mono Machine and a Roland V synth. Recorded in three takes, one for each instrument, in to Ableton and then a little light processing.

where did you get the breaks from? did you sample that, or made it yourself?

I used the standard breaks, think about it and Amen brother. Sampled them from the original tunes a long time ago.
I brought them into the OT, sliced them to one hit per slice, each in their own flex machine and then sequenced it. A lot of p-locked pitch and retrig stuff. Ended up with about 12 patterns and then I recorded the drum track live using pattern chain and and live knob and scene tweaking and delay repeats.
I got bored making breakcore type stuff in the DAW, the OT has sparked my love for making this kind of music again.
