Guys, this is awesome.
I am beta testing the newest iPad firmware. Now you get a browser and you can connect your Octatrack via USB and load, rename, edit, import/export etc your samples or your files from the iPad.
I think you can do this with your iPhone too if you are on iOS 13.
Just wanted to share this, so you are informed

will test this out & holla back but I think it needs transfer app octatrack makes sense because it’s just reading the card love that it runs on a compact flash the best feature

Lots of hype about ipad os.
The reality is … meh .
Dark mode (when did it become so hard to change a colour palette )
Files (shouldn’t have been so stupid before )
Why have iPad /iOS users become so gullible to get excited by these types of update .

Am I the only one that doesn’t understand the hype around dark mode these days?
I will admit, it’s nice to be able to use USB file stuff. I need to try it with my Sony voice recorder and haven’t yet; haven’t done any field recording since I upgraded (which is a shame, there’s been lovely winds here in Boulder Creek this weekend. Maybe tomorrow?)
as someone who does digital art as well nothing beats the apple pencil beats dishing out the 13k for Wacom with the A13 chip no latency ace man

I won’t update to OS 13 until I’m sure I won’t lose projects / presets. I’m using ipad apps in AUM with the OT a lot of late, so I’m hyped by the prospect of being able to transfer AUM recordings directly without having to send them to PC, then OT, A time saver. Hopefully a clever dev will come up with an iOS OT editor.
