Octacontrol-Octatrack-Electribe Midi issue

Hello,

I have a question about my Midi-Setup.

This is my Setup:

I have my Octakontrol sending midi into my OT as a controller.
Ot sends Start/Stop&Clock midi to my electribe mx in a chain and the electribes return via Midi Through to the input of the Octakontrol.

Octakontrol out - Octatrack in
Octatrack out - Electribe mx in
1st Electribe mx through - 2nd Electribe mx in
2nd electribe mx through - Octakontrol in

The issue:
I dont know anything about midi and don’t understand the manual.

Octakontrol sends with a “Send/request” button a midi-note on “midi cc# 61” to the octatrack to get the position of the volume knobs.
When you push up the fader, you get no soundglitch because it keeps the volume up until you reached the actual level of volume with the fader.

BUT when i press the send/request button on my OK - the midi cc# 61 changes the effect of the FX3 to Hipassfilter…
I dont know how to turn this off!
Is it a Setting in the Octatrack or in the Emx?
Can i make the OT stop sending midi notes except of start/stop and clock?

i don’t have one but could the concept be ok->ot->ok midithru->other machines, does it make sense?

and there’s a 2nd midi aux which let you add midi before the OK or as a second midi out. You could control a second elektron from the OK or maybe make it a secondary out from ot, not sure about that?
