NRPN to Delay Time, Data Entry LSB not functioning

Sending NRPN messages to the Digitakt works great for some parameters, such as

Source Tune,
MIDI Channels 1-8

  • NRPN MSB CC 99 = 1
  • NRPN LSB CC 98 = 0
  • Data Entry MSB CC 6, Value 0-127 (Coarse control)
  • Data Entry LSB CC 38, Value 0-127 (Fine control)

However, it is not producing fine control when controlling Delay Time, only course

Delay Time
MIDI Channel 9 (FX Control Channel)

  • NRPN MSB CC 99 = 2
  • NRPN LSB CC 98 = 0
  • Data Entry MSB CC 6, Value 0-127 (Coarse control)
  • Data Entry LSB CC 38, Value 0-127 (Fine control)

Any insight into why controlling the Digitakt Delay Time via NRPN isn’t behaving as expected would be greatly appreciated

For anyone interested, on March 4th 2022 Elektron User Care has replied to a support ticket regarding NRPN control of Delay parameters

Thanks for the report! I can reproduce this and have now reported the issue to our developers. They will investigate and fix the issue for a future OS. Please let me know if you have any questions.

And asking if NRPN control of Delay parameters is functioning in prior OS versions

I tested with a few prior OS versions and couldn’t find one where this is functioning, unfortunately. I went all the way back to OS 1.10, and I wouldn’t recommend downgrading to an earlier version than that.
