Definately looks like a BS2:
But this doesn´t mean, that they will actually release that along with an album. But it strongly looks like that.
So my bet is still on a BS2 AFX-Station with full featured AFX Soundset.
Novation did something like that before:

My guess…BS2 AFX themed / edition as many of you say. Knobs and buttons are layout like the BS2 inn the images we have, although I’d love to be completely wrong…

Yeah I think most likely thing is special BS2 with the existing AFX mode functions accessible through new dedicated interface features plus some other additions to the synthesis/sequencing architecture.

I bet Novation realized how good their stuff sells if some legendary artist is involved - I say it will become a trend. Hopefully we will soon see Nord Lead Drum Autechre Edition, Sub 37 Stephan Bodzin Edition and Digitone @Ess Edition of course!
Now, can someone explain what tihis aphex mode is? Microtuning?
If I recollect correctly it was a mode that utilized how swiftly the BS2 can switch patches. I think it was to assign a different patch to each key (sort of like PLOCKs but fixed per key?)

The latest firmware also allowed for microtuning but obviously didn’t have a dedicated knob for it (if I recollect correctly)
