Hi. I own a model:cycles. Considering buying a samples but can see on samples manual that the note gate sequencing feature (button) from cycles is not on model samples
Ideally id like to have ability to dial in with a encoder notes values of adjustable lengths and to also send this data via midi to external synths (as the cycles does)
Is there a a work around for this on the samples ?
Note length is a standard step value (adjusted in the same way/view that you adjust velocity or note). By plocking decay and adjusting this value per step you should have a decent amount of control. Unfortunately it is mildly menu divey. It’s not exactly the same as the gate on cycles but should get you close
Aw great to know, ill dive in and find out. Thanks for replying with your insights
No worries, all of this is on cycles as well so you can play around with it and see if it’s going to work for you!
Hi. From my reading of both manuals and use of cycles
The gate function is unique to cycles seq
When i dial in note duration values on a cycles sequence on per step basis, the gating is far more pronounced when gate button pressed
And pretty much unoticable when not
So i thought this maybe a feature missed from samples to add in other features to make them different
