Hello,
Today i started to get this weird issue on my Octa… as the video shows, the SRC NOT4 parameter is oscillating by itself, making all my trig notes playing awful (or experimental, they could say lol).
Any ideas ?
Thanks !!

I wouldn’t call that oscillating.
First guess, apparently, it is controlled by external midi.
Is CC DIRECT CONNECT off?
Set to on, (checked), it shouldn’t happen if that’s the problem.
MKII?
This could be “jumping values”.
Several reports around about the encoders issues, including mine.
If it is jumping only sometimes one value up and down, probably nothing to do with… but it is just guessing…
See video from the thread below, values just jumping without touching the OT.
As it jumps 1 value up, that seems a good guess. I didn’t have that problem with my OT MKI but with DT. I used a contact spray, it improved the behavior, but it happened later. Turning the knob for a while solved it, but I’m afraid it will happen again. Obvious on Start, 12000 values resolution.
I believe in MK2 and DT/DN they use endless potentiometers (sin/cos) rather than encoders, so it could be oxidation/dust causing the resistance and therefore the value to fluctuate.
