Alright!
NordDrumEnclosure.stl (265.0 KB)
A few things:
- It’s not perfect
- I didn’t do the printing myself, my buddy did that so no idea how you handle this in the printing software (maybe someone can add that?)
- The model (295mm) was placed diagonally on the tray (don’t know how to do that)
- Use a ‘good’ 3D printer
- Use PETG!
- The print itself needs some adjustments: you need to have fine tools (hobby files!) around!
- You need to de-solder the pad from the Nord Drum engine (no big deal): make sure you can at least reverse that later
- We used longer screws on the bottom side than the originals. These holes were most off and needed the most adjustments
- Handle with care, don’t tighten everything the first time, slowly ‘build’ tightness
…And show your final case (colors anyone?) ![]()
Files or files? Files! (I was a bit surprised that the word file also means something different than a sequence of bytes on a medium)
