I haven’t thought about this company in years but used to use the blue tubes plugins on just about everything. Eventually they became obsolete.
This morning I had an email from the company announcing an updated version of the bundle and announcing that the update was free to existing users.
I thought that was a really classy move, I’m looking forward to giving them another try - anyone else use anything by them?
Nomad Factory was and still is a highly recommended plugin developer. I must admit that I am not familiar with or able to assess the manufacturer’s current situation – the Integral Studio Series and Blue Tube plugins are still top notch in terms of sound. The GUI of some plugins is somewhat stuck in the early 2000s, but even today I still enjoy using the BT Chorus, Magnetic (II), Echoes, and 80s Spaces (which offers some wonderful algorithms reminiscent of old reverb devices of all price ranges) from time to time. Back then, I never had the money for the asking prices, but today I think they are really well priced and I wish the developer would get a little more attention in the sea of new developers… But yes, I like Nomad Factory and thank you for the reminder – I think I’ll unpack the plugins again just to remember the mood of the old days - they deserve it…
