No sound from external after correctly setup

hello
ive done research and everything seems corect but i do not hear any notes from external
setup is thus
DT midi out
to Microbrute midi IN (audio out from microbrute in to DT)
on DT midi A channel ive selected channel 1 to match where MB receives

midi config settting thus

  • set OUT PORT FUNC to “MIDI”,
  • set OUTPUT TO to “MIDI”,
  • set TRIG KEY DEST to “INT+EXT”.

I hear the tunes from DT and but nothing from the micro brute Im using the trig note on midiA

Where did you select channel 1? From the midi source page by pressing the encoder and turning it? Or from the port menu?

You need to do the first.

Also make sure you turned up the mixer input level for the audio in.

hey thanks for your help.
I selected channel 1 from the midi soarce page

and the mixer input was all the way down thank you turned it up and we are in business. thank you
