my A4 has no presets. when I try to choose it says that drive has no sounds. do you think that updating OS can help it? and are there any risks that something will go wrong in my projects or lose something

Back up every project via sysex send with C6 tool.
You then have nothing to fear.
If after a factory reset you still have nothing, I’d contact Elektron Support if I were you.
Edit : I took the liberty to rename the topic so that it’s clear what you’re talking about.
You might want to do some research in this forum, such subject might have been treated already…

I recently bought a used Analog Four (MK1). First, I made a factory reset. Unfortunately I deleted the factory presets I wanted to listen to. Is it possible to restore them directly to the device?

To restore the factory presets, do a factory reset. 
FACTORY RESET When performing a factory reset on the Analog Four it will overwrite and re-initialize the active project (including all pattern, kit, sound pool and global data). The +Drive project slot 1 will be overwritten and re-initialized. Sound bank A and B will be overwritten with the factory Sounds. Factory preset patterns, kits, Sounds and settings will be re-initialized.

Is there a list of the factory preset patterns anywhere? I can’t find them in the manual.

Just so - a bit tricky to see what they are without … doing a factory reset. I guess I’ll just have to listen back to them all to check which ones I might or might not have modified when I first had the unit and had no idea how the kits and patterns worked!

I think I’ll do empty / factory reset one day because I have too much packs installed, most of them installed by previous owner.
All banks are taken!
