Newbie to DT

Hi all, I’m a happy new owner of a DT.
Could smb explain me how to dump a .syx file via Transfer to the DT (e.g. Uncanny Valley which is free download from Elektron page for the DT). When I explore Transfer it does even not find the .syx file. But I succeed with Samples.
Pls help and thx in advance.

Hello, Go to Imp/Exp (FUNC + …) and import sounds. Choose a bank, the DT will switch to waiting.
Then go to to Elektron transfert and drop the sysex

Go in “drop” menu in Elektron transfert, and drag the file from windows (or macos) with the mouse

TRANSFER doesn’t drop as it doesn’t recognize the sysex file at all

This Soundpack is for Digitone
I downloaded it last week. It won’t transfer to Digitakt.

So I can transfer only WAV files to the DT?

It’s common for DT to refer to Digitakt, the sampling drum machine. While DN refers to Digitone, the 8 voice FM synth.

.syx only for stored projects and settings - I believe

Indeed. Digitakt being a sampler that reads WAV files. However you can also transfer System Exclusive ( Sysex) files provding they are for the digitakt

Thats what system exclusive means. The system file is exclusive to X device.
