Hi, I’ve heard of these, second hand. They are indeed ā€˜big brother’ versions of the pocket operators. Most but not all of the pocket ops are getting new versions in this new series. Meant to be affordable but not as ā€˜toy feeling’ as the current pocket ops, I believe sub $500 USD. Each has a focus, eg. mic sampling, drum machine, bass synth, etc. and of course the microtonic collab lives on.

Ooh, a whole new range (or at least updated designs of the older ones). Colour me interested!

I’m honestly surprised they’ve been able to keep it under wraps for so long, figured there’d be a bigger leak by now with how many folks are discussing it

OP-1F email went out at 1:30am PST, which I believe is like 10:30am in sweden

anyone wanna guess what time these will drop?
I’ll be fast asleep anyway

I could see that happening haha :joy:

still skeptical, but if the trend of this rumor is true, they must plan to keep stock of the og PO’s for a bit, and I would suspect these are priced and featured to a point that they don’t render the OG’s null.
b/c they were all in short supply not long ago and now they’re all back in full force, why not let them die out if you’re planning a replacement?

the price point is not so low that they replace the POs entirely. They will continue to sell the POs

Yeah I guess $200+ for each unit

I’ve stayed away of POs for quite a while. Until I caved and got the street fighter. Plus case. Bro those are really dope. I can see why people love them. The build quality was dope too for what they are. I’m super excited for a more powerful one. Bring it on.

Their website has now been updated to show 15.00 CET

They are definitely in a price range where it’s fun to collect them all. I got the Voice, the street fighter and Megaman. I’ve never made music with any of them I just enjoy them for being music hobby collectibles, just like the Stylophone and Monotrons.

A bigger version is exciting though. I don’t need one… but I could go for another sampler :star_struck:

that may refer to Jespers sentence about an upcoming OPZ (field) which can be easily spread out of an existing OPZ splitting it into

-Drums

-Sample/Synth

-FX/Tape

-Photomatic/Unity

So many things are :dart: in the commentaries…

I love my po-32, but an extended version would be very hard to resist!

I would be into an Akai x TE Mpc PO thang

I have a number of Pocket Operators. I like them but always wished they were a bit more capable, so I’m definitely interested in this.
