New Teenage Engineering products

maybe it’s 64 voice 16 part multimbral synth that tightly integrates with the op-z.

more likely it’s the world’s most expensive graphing paper.

If you follow that FCC doc down there are requirements/ parts of the process that reflect a deadline of April 2025. Hopefully it’s just that and not something ties into release date.

Based on the word from 2023 (“we are 1.75 years away from finishing the op-z field” -TE) that was rumored , this would make it right on track for the Q1/Q2 2025 release as projected ….

They couldn’t call it op-z, and they had to maintain some allure considering the field line is no longer being added as they also said, so what is more telling than the op-xy……z? In other words it’s the MOTHER of the op-z….

I believe from filing, if the filer has requested some documents to be confidentially protected, those docs are not published externally until 180 days after the filing date or at the time of the products announcement. So we know it’s due to release no later than 180 days from the file date with the FCC.

I would say a new product, the OP-1 Field is marked as OP-1.5 on the actual device.

That’s exciting. I did hear a rumor (so have to treat it as one) from a pretty reliable dealer that TE will have another big release before end of year.

Would assume they weren’t referring to the Lennon speaker.

What was the filing name for the op1F? If you recall or know I mean?

If it’s an entirely different product that would be cool too but I also wouldn’t mind the op-z 2.0 finally being released (if ever)

To me, it really defeats the object of portable/field if you need one device to sequence audio (OP-1) and another device to sequence midi (OP-Z)

If TE could merge the Midi power of the Z and the Audio power of the OP-1F, they’d really be on to something. I think it would be sick if the Move could do audio clips, but I think that’s only a Push thing, so to make something that does both well in one small device would crack open my wallet for sure.

I hope it’s an OP-Z field (with proper sample management & shit), but on the other hand I hope it’s not since I struggle to sell mine

op-1 field design
we‘ll see some firmware and equipment for it :ghost:

It will be announced in the next couple weeks, so wont be long. I posted in the other thread, but based on what they told people at super booth and the possible TE employee confirming it will be announced within 2 weeks on reddit - whatever this is will be released before the holidays.

The only thing I want from TE is a software engineer. Just one. Otherwise, love you guys.

Etwas kommt bald - something is coming soon

Oh, so it’s actually in German? I thought it showed in German because I’m in Berlin.
