Damn, the workflow on this seems really interesting.

That FX suite is a real treat for the eyes (I like the pressure sensitivity).

Is the crossfader in anyway comparable to Octatrack? I see it has 4 buttons for scenes/patterns. An easier version of Parts?

the Fader on OT is much higher quality… its not bad on the EP, but its not OT quality

Its a bit better then MI Stages imo.

You cant reall compare groups to parts cause each sample slot in a group is unique. You can have the same sample set on every pad but with different settings on it (pitch, pan, envelope etc.)

It runs on batteries and it samples in stereo, all for $299? Too good to be true.

How does it fit in the hand?

Is there a resampling/bounce workflow?

This thing looks like so much fun that I doubt this thread will devolve into some issue of one random spec that doesn’t matter, look at it! Look at the price! Have fun make music!

They are shipping these now, released the manual, accessories and sample utility out the gates. Great work TE, $299! Velocity sensitivity, stereo, sequencing + effects.

Can’t wait, insta buy from me

Need pics of hands to answer properly.

Ah cool. I meant in terms of what it can do. For example, can it be used to morph from one set of parameters to another like on OT?

you can use it while holding it in your hands, but you need really big hands and it would probably be awkward even then. so i would say its a desktop item and not a handheld item

Too cheap… can’t justify putting a 300€ instrument on my 1600€ field table. Kinda kills the premium vibe

lol
Just add the grab car to your shopping bag to assuage any of those kinds of feelings.

I think this fella needs its own thread!

I’m on the same page. I’ll wait for the reviews to see what I don’t like about it, but I’m very interested in it.

aaah ok…

No its more for changing values in a group or sample… you can automate the fader movements in a pattern. so i guess its kind of like the OT fader. its just not as precise since you dont set min max values as on OT
