It was fast. I was checking in my Account to see it go from Processing to whatever was next and after it did, the Push arrived in two days. But I am relatively close to TN, which is where mine shipped from.
I ordered my Push 3 (Controller) two weeks ago. At the time, it said 8 weeks. Last time I checked the site, it said 12+ weeks. Is there anyway to see where you are in line?
Awesome! So, assuming the payment goes through soon (no reason It shouldn’t), I’ll hopefully have it this week!
I don’t think so, except maybe logging a ticket but mine went from 8 weeks to 4-6 weeks to payment processing in the space of 1 week, so I’d imagine the line moves a bit faster than they indicate.
I think that’s a distinct possibility. But don’t get your hopes up in case I’m wrong.
Strange, I know of at least one US-based ‘naught that preordered the standalone right around the same day that I did and they already received theirs. I haven’t gotten the payment email yet. I ordered on May 25th. Maybe I just missed the batch.
I’m out of town next week so now I hope it doesn’t ship in the next few days. It would eat into my 30-day trial!
Trial won’t start until you activate it.
Is this a known problem?
- new set (doesn’t matter)
- sequencer layout, display pianoroll
- put in a note and hold it to enter noteedit
- hold that note and another pad (to extend that note (this should show on the screen or?)
- keep holding the first note and nudge with the knob
- Crash
Also. When you hold a note and use knob to extend it I can see that it also extends in the grid, but if I hold two pads in the grid to extend a note I can’t see that on the display. Is this normal?
I have sent a report to Ableton.
Hi all,
Is this usable on push 3 (standalone or standard): Probability Pack | Ableton
Thanks!
I can install it and it seems to be working, but per the compatibility list I’m guessing it’s not working fully.
Devices with sequencers or note-editors are playback only:
- Note entry for devices with a built-in sequencer is not available
- Previously created sequences will play back normally
- Example: Melodic Steps
Thanks for checking
Does anyone understand the mixer sends? Is it working as it should?
If I load a drumkit and would like to put a reverb/delay on only the kickdrum how do I do? Or a handclap? Only seem to send reverb on that with B-send which is delay or?
I posted a video that shows this, but just go to Seed to Stage on youtube, its his latest video. The trick with Push is clicking deeper into the device you want to manage. So you can mix each drums volume in a drum rack and add effects to just one drum. He walks through all of this, it is very helpful.
So it’s not a bug? It must be only me that don’t understand. In my world it would be just to adjust send levels in the mixer. Works for normal miditracks, but I struggled with drums. Thanks, will see the video.
It sounds like you might be new to Live. If you are, I highly recommend reading the chapter in the manual regarding Racks, Drum and Instrument. It will provide a good foundation for understanding them and working with them.
Thanks!
I hate to say RTFM… but, it will help you a lot. Drum Racks are unique, insanely powerful, and can get pretty damn complicated.
I tried the manual, but will dig deeper in it.
Workaround/Cool trick for adding Sends from individual Drum Racks to primary Return tracks.
From Standalone, so far this isn’t available, but you can do this in Live.
I haven’t tried it in Standalone, so I’m not sure what works/doesn’t work after transferring it (but routing should be respected after transfer).
