I’m very happy to announce, that my new album ‘Into’ is now officially released via Noorden. It features 8 tracks of chilled, naive & trippy electronic music and I’d be super glad if you gave it a spin. Maybe you’ll even like it, love it, buy it or share it with your friends, who knows…
You’re talented, man! Great work. I’m really liking this (liked the record you released in 2012 too!). Will buy it after next paycheck. Nice cover art too! Props to whoever did it.
Thanks a lot for listening and the kind words, guys. Very happy you dig it.

Awesome. I’m very grateful for every supporter I have.

Actually, I made most of it while traveling. So the core of it was made with just Ableton, Push and a Macbook Air. I later opened up the projects on my home computer to add some stuff and do the finetuning. But it’s very much an in-the-box record. And I still have a bad conscience saying that
I generally take the gear-list-surprise as a compliment as I hope the record doesn’t sound “computer”. As I used only the sampler of the OP-1, I kinda got tired of it, as with the way I work, it takes about 20-30 minutes to try out a new sound. I still like it but I found myself doing the same thing over and over again. The other gear I didn’t use, was simply because I was away from home when I made it and didn’t want to lug too much stuff around. When I make music with Ableton I try to work as hardware as possible. That means I don’t have several tracks with different VST instruments open. I always just have one VST track and record that straight to audio and simply multitrack the whole thing. I feel that commiting stuff to audio really helps and lets me work as I would with my gear. Also, my Macbook Air would catch fire if I would do it differently
But to be honest, I got to a point where the synths/samplers I use, be it hardware or software, aren’t that important to me. As long as I can record and loop tracks and layer them, I can somehow get where I want. It’s not rocket science, just jamming and trying to follow where the music leads me.
