First I had the situation that the Digitone 2 started when the Digitakt 2 stopped as master. Otherwise the Digitone wouldn’t start at all. I suspected a defective key, but the test routine (boot+function) showed that the key worked. After a factory reset everything went back to normal - okay , a Bug
But
then the Digitone 2 suddenly stopped receiving a pattern change from the Digitakt, they start together and run synchronously, but the pattern change is not recognized. All attempts were unsuccessful. I then installed the firmware via transfer, and no change either. As a final test I used the Digitone2 as master and the Digitakt2 as slave. Carefully turned the settings. Then it worked. I can’t even say whether the Digitakt 2 doesn’t send the pattern change or whether the Digitone doesn’t understand it. I don’t even know if it could be a hardware defect. The Digitone had reacted abnormally a few times before. (I would like to emphasize that I have been working on a set for 3 weeks and everything was going well until then)
