Nedavine - Osaka Elektron seminar (vid and pics)

So I did a seminar in Osaka for elektron. My section was about using the Analog Four with modular. Afterwards there was a a gig that we went and played. I couldn’t record the actual performance so I rerecorded a version when I got home.

Great stuff.

Would love to hear what patches are used for those melodies. Take it the Braids and HD are getting a workout?

Are you using a quantizer for those melodies or driving them from the A4 cv outs?

Cheers

Turing machine is running braids in Bow mode. Turing is quantized by the disting. Using teh scale on the turing to make the arp sweeps. Braids is running into the ripples which is being modulated by peaks running off of pulses out of turing. Output goes to the springray and then into the A4. There are some performance macros that add delay and verb to the modular. rest is coming from the elektrons.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like the Turing machine is pretty integral to your setup?

Have built myself a modular 6U (3 months in and crying poor ) and love the idea of a random generator to create self generating melodic patches.

Only for that patch. For the other songs in the set I sequenced from the A4. It’s a fun module though.

Fuck yeah!
This is crazy, sounds good too!

I’ve been following your setup for quite sometime. I’m impressed Nedavine!!!Great Job Buddy.

Nice track nedavine and congrats on the rytm. Your setup has come a long way, i realy dig your selection. Your music also made some good progress along the hardware !

Thanks peeps. The come a long way seems to be a repeating theme which can only be a good thing. Really appreciate all the kind words. Thanks peeps

Awesome stuff, always looking forward to your next video homie!
