NDLR alternative in software

Does anyone have any suggestions for a plugin that would reproduce more or less what NDLR does ? (which I’m selling, as going mostly back ITB)
I really enjoy fugue machine on the iPad, and that goes some of the way, but key and degree changes are nice to have.

I’m looking to find something that will help me make music similar to this …
Thanks

I’ve not used NDLR but I remember watching Loopop’s review of it a couple of times. Maybe something like Xfer Records Cthulhu:

I’ve heard people rave about Scaler, but haven’t used it myself

This looks like it could do the job, thanks

Rapidcomposer also good

Thanks. Do you have this ? Just wondering if you’d need the full version, as it’s a bit pricey ($199 vs $79 for the light version)

Awesome. I did the same thing. I like the idea of taking chords from famous classical works especially. Bit different from the standard chord groupings in these types of plugins

Some Mozaic scripts for iPad probably fit the bill. Browse them all on patchstorage. For example I released a Turing machine on there. Probably nothing exactly like ndlr.

Or try max 4 live devices.

Just to add to the list of excellent plug-ins with chord progressions

I use this to play around with chord progressions … but it misses the arp functionality of Cthulhu, which I think is very inspiring and creating happy accidents as well.

Thanks. Any m4l suggestions ?

I didn’t know about Mozaic, thanks

Imagine a NDLR alternative in the shape of an USB compliant android app.

Who would be up to collect fund and hire a developer to do it?

I would check out …

There are plenty m4l devices, which can be combined, create randomness, filter MIDI, modify MIDI, etc.

Not exact duplications of NDLR but also recommend Scaler on PC/Mac. Or Suggester / Step Poly Arp / Mozaic / Xynthesiser or many others on iOS.

Or https://fabriziopoce.com/progressive.html if you’re able to access AbletonM4L. Lots of ways to do this…

Cthuhlu is a beast. Really versatile. And there are really good chord packs available.

…how about built ur own ndlr’s in bitwig…?

lots of options for doing so to find there…plus a lot of internal plugins that take u half the way already…
