Anyone got some experience with Nanoloop (preferably on iOS) and syncing with a Digitakt?
Is this even possible?

Nanoloop says it has midi sync, so it’s possible.
The mobile app can’t sync with anything.
The gameboy and standalone device versions can though, and imo are the better versions of nanoloop (especially the GBA version). A lot more flexibility when it comes to pattern manipulation.
Says midi sync with other devices. So it doesn’t midi sync with other devices? That’s a bummer. But also looks like they haven’t bothered to update it in 3 years so it’s no surprise.
Oh right! I stand corrected. It’s been so long since I’ve used the mobile version that I probably missed an update
edit: looking at the manual on the app, it looks like it can only sync over wifi to Ableton, or at least has only been tested in that configuration.
Then they should amend the description because Link is not (Wi-Fi?) Midi. Misleading. Best to use Koala and a few other apps through AUM to get similar functionality and more.
Edited - meant link is not midi.
I can’t see any mention of Link in either the App Store description or manual.
I assume sync would work via USB, as the manual talks about devices and not specifically Ableton, but Oliver is famous for implementing features and not documenting them properly.
I spent some time digging into this last year. If I remember correctly you have to set up MIDI over Wi-Fi, for it to work. It has nothing to do with Ableton Link.
I also remember it to be quite unstable in terms of jitter.
Edit: setting up MIDI over wi-if along the lines of Share MIDI information over a network in Audio MIDI Setup on Mac – Apple Support (UK)
This post got me thinking and since I couldn’t sleep I just went and checked out SP-404 mkII compatibility. If a Pattern is selected on the SP, and nanoloop is set to send MIDI, then nanoloop sends midiclock to the SP over the USB cable. There seems to be some latency, but initial reaction is
