Thanks a lot ! I have a cold right now so my ears are not as good when I have sinusitis so I skipped the mixing part.

Really good one. Subbed and will follow your tutorial series :relaxed:

Nice one mate! Thanks for this

I was wondering… what do you use to record the video and how do you sync up with audio afterwards? I take it you just record into DAW and export from there?

Really enjoyed this video. You’ve captured why I love this device so much. Keen to explore using sample chains for kick/percussion etc to develop my workflow

Great tutorial, love seeing other people’s workflow and the music brought me back to many nights in Detroit warehouses. Would be great to see a video on how you handle transitions (or not) between songs live.

Great tutorial! If there’s anything to say… maybe side chaining the DT2 to your voice, maybe just an EQ bell curve cutting the frequencies that conflict with your voice in post production. A quick taste of some audio would be nice in the first 30 sec too, will probably increase retention of viewers.

Hey thanks for the tips ! As everything I make is not edited there is noch chance to make some postproduction stuff. I just want it to be as real as possible ! We live in a time where everything has to be perfect. Maybe we should embrace imperfection. This was kind of my idea making this tutorial.

For me, I’m more incline to watch these (your) kind of videos.

I sum my mic (Rode wireless Me) and the DT with a cheap moukey mixer and record everything into the Howler Device. Sync is done with Ableton Live afterwards but I don’t do multitracks. Maybe next time I will use my MacBook and record everything. I just don’t like to setup for a long time when I am in the flow. I just put everything on the kitchen table and record

Hey thanks! I just use the OT as a looper and FX unit. I have my IEMs set up with an external mixer so I can cue up a pattern on the DT while playing back the loop on the OT. So I can test some stuff on the DT and then fade into the modified or new pattern

Yeah I really hate those cuts in videos on Youtube. It sounds so off and artificial. I like to keep my Videos as my Jams mostly improvised.

Glad to see that you incorporated my feedback in your second. Why did you go off on things having to be perfect? I didn’t mention anything like and it seems like you thought I was evaluating you or your skills.

Hi thanks for the feedback it really helped me! It was not against you but had some nasty comments on Reddit where I had to pull out the post. Such a toxic place

Ouch, pulling the post… I hear they are vicious over there. I just wanted to hear your voice better. :slightly_smiling_face:
