Just picked up a brand new Octatrack. Came with 1.40b. Checked web site still using 1.40A. I did a search and found no Information on new firmware.
Is there anything different about it though?

Ya I have the same question, although I think the lettered updates are just bug fixes, so there wouldn’t be any noticeable new features. Maybe just a little bug somewhere that they’re updating the new machines for in prep for the release of the bug fix???

Been a few years since I had a Octatrack. Still playing with it trying to see if there is anything different. Looked up some issues with 1.40a and testing. I will update if I find anything.

A button press could in some cases be incorrectly registered as the press of another button.
The Trig mode MIDI map was not read correctly when loading projects.

Just updated to 1.40b, remounted to delete the.bin, then remounted 10 mins later to transfer some new samples, unmounted and… parse error 
Is there anyone here who will teach me ot on zoom?

While we’re at it, and to stay in topic: I downloaded 1.40B but I can’t extract it, gives me an error. anyone else having this issue?
EDIT: nevermind, I restarted my computer and it works now. Weird!
