90 minutes away?
And counting…
Well, there was a muck up with times, no idea what happened. I played earlier than scheduled. They are replaying my set now ( thanks to recording!) if anyones keen. Will upload to youtube later.
It was an improvised set so it is what it is. Far from perfect, but thats live!
Thanks folks.
I started watching about 4 hours in and all of the artists were really great. Do you have links for everyone (and yourself)?
Sure, have a look here https://www.merkabamusic.com/music/artists/
I’m in that list.
Here’s a link to my bandcamp https://mike-e-river.bandcamp.com/
And here too https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/mikeeriver1/carrion-show
Cheers!
20 minutes in and I like your set Mike
Note to self > get that DN finally
Thanks!
Yep, the digitone sure is good.
Just got round to giving the stream a wee watch.
Very nice. I rarely listen to music at that tempo (unless the word doom is somewhere in the genre) but it flowed really well and kept me interested right through.
Love the DFAM basslines. I don’t know where I’d even start trying to use my DFAM and Lyra in a live session, you made it look easy.
You’re making me want to buy an octatrack, but good muscle memory must never be mistaken for ease of use…
Fair play.
Thanks for the feedback i think the DFAM approached quasi acid levels at one point.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Totally overused the snare/rim shot sample I made in my MS20, but damn… sounded sweet in my room at the time.
That’s pretty cool to hear, thank you.
I was thinking too…damn that snare sounds epic.
@TobySD thanks! All the drum sounds in that set were made on my old MS20, sampled, made into a chain and loaded onto my OT.
That really is much better quality, thanks.
Nice! I really enjoyed that, perfect for this morning^^
I just had a 47:07 min listening of your Live set and it suited my taste in Sounds, Textures, BPM, Ambiance and Structures. Great Performance M. River. Subscribed.
Thanks very much
