Is there a way to mute MIDI input using the standard mute methods. I read other posts about this but not exactly what I need. I am sequencing two devices from my Keystep Pro, one being the DT. For layering both (multiple tracks), I would like to mute the DT and bring it in, in a convient way, with a button press(es), not faders. Possible?
I also noticed having the MIDI input coming in is affecting polyphony in the DT, manifesting as a sustained/inf note getting cut short. I will also like to avoid this (dont quite understarnd why that is happening yet, need to RTFM).
It sounds like voice strealing but looking in the Voice Setup page the rectangle doesn’t appear around the currently playing voices indicator. But, if I set the number of voices to 1 or 2 on the tracks that are receive external MIDI note input the note on the track doesn’t get cut off, so it’s related.
