Mute ableton tracks with DT

Hi Elektronauts.

I would like to use my 8 midi tracks to control Ableton Live. Do you have any trick to mute/unmute tracks for example?

I don’t have a DT but if it’s like the OT midi sequencer (I’m pretty sure it is) I don’t think there’s a switch type CC control. You could midi learn the faders to a CC and p-lock them to 0 but that’s not really ideal. You may be best pairing a small mappable controller. They come cheap and add a lot of convenience. Also you could map the faders and to control your DTs audio channels too. Someone who owns a DT may jump in and correct me

I easily succeeded in launching clips in Ableton by triggering the midi tracks by hand (once to start a clip and a second time to stop it) I guess you can do the same to mute and unmute tracks !
