I’d love to hear all the theories about what these stats seems to suggest:
Jazz blues country gospel folk; grow old, die of age related causes.
Rap hip hop: die young, because of others.
Metal punk: die young, because of yourself.
Seems like a very US centered statistic trying to suggest rock related music makes people drunk?
Who made the statistics ?
How many people where checked ?
What proves the link between the music-style and the death-cose ?
I know that you can make statistics tell what you want them to.
it’s bobbins is what it is.
Rappers live not not long enough to get killed by cancer (or ar still too young)
So the more music-styles i’m into the sooner i’ll leave this planet
Why do I have this feeling that music makes me live longer ?
I have to admit that some " music " shortens my life !
Dont’ listen or make any music and You’ll live longer !!!
( they forgot to take the hair-color in to accout )
wheres the “country & western musicians being killed by other musicians” category?
We’re making fun of this hilarious article on another forum.
No stats for classical music?
If you play classical you will live forever, obviously.
Proves the link? im not following your logic here. A famous musician dies and they know what style of music they were writing, seems pretty simple.
I don’t think you can make statistics “tell” what you want if you are honest and don’t fudge the numbers. If you do fudge the numbers, you haven’t done the job correctly.
How long will you live if all you listen to is Sunny fm light rock? Anyone listen to Carly Simon? I love that shit!
I wanna see the stats for Swedish Death Polka!
How about Mexican cartel banda music?
Something tells me the Swedish Death Polka aficionados outlive the Mexican Cartel Banda cabrons.
Apparently the combination of those two sub-genres somehow produces the longest life expectancy, as witnessed in the video below:
(I get a lot of mileage out of that video - not the first time I post that link!!)
