Multi-track recording with Rytm Mk1 and Logic X

Hey guys,

I used to use Rytm Mk1 with Ableton and the Multi-track/outputs would work fine.

I use Logic X now and recently got the Rytm out, but the multi outputs aren’t showing any signal at all. Here are the steps I have followed:

  • Selected Rytm VST - I am selecting 10 x Mono but have tried all the other options
  • Turned off route to main on Analog Rytm. At this point I can only hear FX coming through
  • Created the multi channels in logic with the + symbol.

At this point I expected to see signal coming through each of the individual channels. I’m not sure if I’ve missed a step or if I’m having genuine issues.

Anyone got any ideas, or should I raise a ticket with Elektron?

Update: still not working in Logic

Also downloaded a trial of Ableton to test. Not seeing any signal through individual outs in Ableton either… very strange. Created ticket with Electron.

If anyone has any ideas please share. I will update this ticket if I find a solution.

The MK1 has limited USB bandwidth so not all tracks can be recorded at once. Have you checked in the standalone Analog Rytm app which channels are selected?
