Sorry, I don’t use a DAW to sequence my A4, but the octave naming differences is a common pitfall.

he A4 has already a keyboard so why oh why do I need an external keyboard?

It’s possible to play and record Multi Map in Multi Map edit mode. Change octaves with Transpose + Arrows.

why do I need to set the fx track to the performance channel 8?

Multi Map can be controlled with Perf channel only…

can play on the FX track set as channel 8, set the midi map to track 4.
when I play on the fx track and record it will record the sequence on the fx track and on the track 4 but why? (I didn’t set anything to say to record on track 4).

You apparently set Multi Map to Track 4, no?

yeah, I totally didn’t know! that’s why I had to transpose my midi tracks all the time!

Ok so basically the multi map being controlled by the Perf channel, once a track use the same channel, it controls automagically the corresponding multi map track. I can go with that!
