I posted a quick jam a week ago or so there. Full made on the mpc.
I have all of these except for the Mini D and Iād say you canāt go wrong with any of them. It really depends on what youāre wanting to do, but my personal top three are:
Opx-4- itās super powerful and sounds amazing, but with frustrating ui. The Digitone is more fun to use, but this is still worthwhile since itās standalone.
Flavor Pro- Itās great for lo-fi sounds but if used subtly it can be excellent for coloring and separating individual sounds in a mix.
Delay Pro- I havenāt dived in very deep yet but this is super powerful and sounds amazing. It can get really experimental (if thatās your thing)
Out of these, Iād recommend Flavor Pro.
I also have all of these and recommend them all
If I had to pick 3, delay pro, opx4 and flex beat.
Can someone please share this code?
Code is A1B2C , email stated 10% off but actually gives 20%
The code is āA1B2Cā.
Really impressed by Juraās sound and versatility. I find its sonic presence in the low end to be more convincing than even Mini D.
Opx4 is gonna take a me a while to explore.
Best OPx4 playlist (7 videos) I know is by Joe Filburn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21HmEpNPNHw&list=PLoxHBVkj2ripbNCBecQRgowfOschR4qjP
To be honest, for me it is just a hobby and an immanent decay of time for my tools in general is keeping me from digging deeper. Iāve started to recreate or transfer my patches Iāve made on my elektrons to my mpc⦠a huge amount of work on os 2.x, a bit easier on 3.x
In reality all of my projects are in a loop of finishing (50 to 90%). I start with a project transfer, then time isnāt plenty at hand, I stop - three weeks later I carry on adding or removing something, jumping to another project and on and on⦠sometimes something sounds good to my ears and i consider it as finished ⦠and leave it as such on my machine
Sometimes I just fiddle around just for pure joy and then leave it for weeks untouched, sometimes I just play without saving
And as I said, time is critical for me and i also have a life outside of work and music as a hobby
But you know what, when I finished my rehab Iāll try to put something up
I dont see much on youtube either. Maybe because its ok for production, but for live twidelling its not optimal. There are some good force sets though. I think a big part plays the mapping of Q links externally, and the macro function - if they would execute this correctly, the MPC could be a very good live jam device, without it, its just too much parameter, and too clunky imho, or you would soly rely on playback of prerecorded stuff.
Thanks these look great, bought the Opx4 this morn looking forward to diving in
Is there any way to activate plugins on an mpc one without an ethernet connection?
no (unless you can manage to get wi-fi through a USB modem in the rear slot?)
It the same on MPC-FORUMS. Their music section is hardly used & nor do many comment on anyone post. That should be one of the most popular sections, butā¦

Now that Iām on winter break from work I post more. I did even know this sites music section. I only found they had a Force & MPC section by chance a while ago.
Reddit has a MPC sub where people post their beats, but itās mostly Hip-Hop beats: https://www.reddit.com/r/mpcusers/s/dG5BtQcmgb
