MPC Thread : MPC Live - MPC X - MPC One (Part 2)

I was thinking more along the lines of a boner joke. If I’m going to shit my pants I intend to be standing when it happens. Probably running from something scary.

Saw this in another forum. Would buy.

Why? Just smaller,so what?

Much more important things than size too implement.

Looks like a DAW in a (small) box…

that looks worse than the 404 mk2, it’s gotta be smaller and more inviting and more appealing… and not a thick rectangle of poundcake…
something like either of the pollyend trackers especially the mini but even the og p tracker would work, and if akai is bold enough to go hand held like the M8 then I’ll have one for each pocket!!!

Yeah, that’s what it is basically. But retains some hardware/immediate vibe……def ultimately easier in the Daw tho.If you can work like that.i found the MPC software very fast to be honest. But clunky like all software,(and hardware) IMO.

If they fused an Elektron with an MPC performance wise and soundwise I’d be very happy to cruise around with an MPC X size machine.I just want it to be the best MPC on the market.Supercharged!!!

I def don’t want an X size mini

Got me thinking now I would like a mini mini key MPC……full portable.with battery and speaker ++++

If they had just put a battery on the MPC+, I think that would’ve been good enough for footprint and accessibility

that would be cool, imagine an mpc the size of a lo-fi 12

Just imagine an X with all the Elektron machine installed.

i begged dan for that… he said no haha… but we did get some probability…
I would love it though. the x is the only mpc I don’t have and I would have one if that was the case

Its sadly why I sold mine.Had 2.But man did I miss that beast. Its a studio on its own….

It kinda looks like the Korg kaos thing. Haha!

That’s where we’re heading….without the pad…

yep… i thought so too… but looking like that if it’s not as thin as the torso s4 it’s a non-starter for me, I know the sp range made that formfactor popular but outside of the sp-303 which i love, the shape of the other sps have always turned me off…

Maybe release a small round ~mpc.something different. In red of course…

I was joking. I wouldn’t change my MPC One form factor one inch.
Actually I think my fav MPC of all the time was the MPC4000, and it was a beast of a machine (not just size wise). The MPC One comes as a very close second.

square, or if it has to be rectangle then like the P tracker mini… these long rectangle formfactors like the 404 mk2 don’t even feel portable to me, they feel cumbersome on my lap
