One Question regarding workflow: is there any suggested way to record a random length guitar solo on the MPC One?
I would really like to use it as a looper kind of thingy but AFAIK you always have to know the length of your recording upfront.
I would love to record just an arbitrary length of guitar track and the choose/slice the best parts of it and use it.
Currently I record the defined length bass/chord tracks on the MPC One and the improvised random length tracks with my multitrack mixer (Tascam Model 12).
But then I have to use a DAW to bring them all together and I actually want to prevent using my computer when I just want to create a simple song from a little jam session.
Maybe I am asking for too much or I just overlook an obvious way.
Having the Tascam Model 12 acting also as the MPC audio interface sometimes really twists my brain when I try to setup a fitting signal path for my needs.
