Also, just to be sure, have you tried another midi cable and other midi adapters? Just because it sounds like you not getting any midi info from one to the other. Does syncing them work or not?
Or if you don’t have those, do you have a stereo mini jack to mini jack cable on hand. That could be worth a shot. That’s what I use between M:S and Roland J-6 and O-Coast, etc etc
the midicable is a almost new one
and all cable work when i use them with a midi keyboard an the samples
and yeah…it seems like there is no midi information send from the samples to mf
Hmm, it’s an odd one. I trust the M:S implicitly, it’s the brains of my setup. So maybe there’s something in the MF settings? I can’t help you there, but someone else might if you list the settings here. Good luck!
Think Std was enabled before I changed it to inv. Not 100% sure. I’ll try and let you know.
I dont think that it is a technical issue. Maybe its just one little thing to change. But what it is…
Hi
I am having some troubles connecting MF and MS, probably due to lack of understanding of how the device operates. Would you be kind and explain to me like you did in your previous message, how to connect these two, MS & MF, but with MS being the master?
edit: I could get Behringer xenyx 802 instead and avoid daisy-chaining
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some troubles. But let’s make sure that we understand the problem before giving advice. The previous posts on this topic are about MIDI synchronization of the sequencers on the Model:Samples and the Microfreak. But you are suggesting that an audio mixer might solve your problem.
Are you having problems with:
MIDI synchronization of the two units or
hearing the audio output of the two units at the same time?
I’d like to sync MS & MF, at this point doesn’t matter which one is master but let it be MS. Behringer xenyx will be connecting with both (one stereo unfortunately) and with my speakers.
