I am trying to upload the most recent os for the machinedrum SPS 1UW+… I’ve downloaded the C6 software… I’ve loaded the new os file into the software… I’ve selected trigger 5, and my screen says “READY TO RECEIVE MIDI UPGRADE”… I press the “send” button on the C6 Sysex Tool window… but nothing happens… I’ve got the USB connected on the TM-1 MIDI Interface… I’ve tried the midi cables both ways, orange midi out, and black, midi in… and also the other way around… but nothing… I hope that I’m missing a step somewhere… Any ideas?

In C6 CONFIG, make sure your interface ports are selected.

Thanks Justin, the file is now “sending”… I’m still waiting for the sound selection, trig LEDs to start flashing,… but I’m hopeful!
SUCCESS! Now running OS 1.63!
I’ve had this machinedrum for almost 9 years, and I’ve never bothered to update the OS, nor have I downloaded any of the sample packs…
Haven’t been able to successfully load anything yet… but now that I’ve updated the OS, I’m feeling a bit of confidence… thx!
