Midi Loop (OT In to Out)

I have my OT set up in Midi Loop. Now I want to control other synths with my OT at the same time. I have a iConnect Midi 4. Can I set up the MIDI feedback in the iConnect? Or whats the easiest way to do this?

Why not simply use the MIDI Thru port of the OT?

I had tried that earlier - with no success - but now I tried again - and it works - thx mucho!

You can do this. Connect the OT to a din pair, open iconfig, head to the port routing section and find the din output your OT is connected to. The dins are at the bottom, not to be confused the groups of 16 ports that belong to the usb devices, some of which are labeled din because they point back to them. Now point the OT back to itself by marking the box with the same din # your OT is attached.
Be careful, this is dangerous info and can cause midi feedback loops. I would start first by disabling all the midi options you don’t need in the OT.
Iconfig takes a minute to wrap your head around, I suggest reading the manual thoroughly. You can tailor your routing so midi only goes where you want it to go, but it’s not set up like that by default, and you might get some surprises especially with the OT loop enabled… Filtering certain things from the loop back to the OT is also possible…
What you want can be achieved but your gonna have to get to grips with iconfig which is confusing at first. Happy routing!

I find iConfig super confusing - took me a long time to wrap my head around it, and I still don’t really go beyond the basics very often. Tips for more complex routings would be very welcomed

I can help answer questions, but we should probably go back here:

I don’t think my setup is too advanced but I do understand everything that is happening within iconfig…

EDIT: Oh - that’s one of my threads. Ha!

Right, and I’m on there too, I totally forgot just found it from search…
