Hi the community
I have a problem with my digitaky2, I’m sending a midi clock on my midi modular interface, the problem is that when I stop the digitakt, the midi clock out is still working, I think it should stop the midi clock also…
Is there a solution to stop midi clock when I stop the digitakt ?
Thanks in advance
Regards
hmm, pulling out the MIDI cable might not be the solution you want … make a feature request in the appropriate topic (where direct contact info will be available too)
There may be midi filter devices which can be activated to filter clock when a specific message is detected
you may be better off looking at the DIN-Sync output option (fully analog) from the Elektron and see if there’s a utility within the modular world which will get you the same clock pulse you derive from midi
see here for info (also applicable to DT)
Thanks for your anwer, I’m gonna try our solution and check others topics
Cheers
Why a feature request when Elektron does everything right when it comes to MIDI Clock?
When I hit stop on my DT2, my modular stops receiving. What are you using on the modular end? I’m using mutant brain, marbles, and PNW. All of those behave this way.
