Hi guys…especially you, hackers
do you know what kind of clock/sync frame does the OT have?
Is it FullFrame or QuarterFrame (tick messages)?
I am asking because I am trying to sync the Undead Instr. Timefrog to be slave of master OT.
The developer of the device told me that timeFrog can manage only QF (tick messages) in order to be able to get synced with DIN connection.
Thanks a lot in advance!!

I don’t understand your question. MIDI clock is always sent at 24 ppqn (pulses per quarter note).
Please note that the OT does not offer the configurable DIN Sync outputs that are included on the Analog series.

Full frame or quarter frame are for MTC, not MIDI clock.

Thank you t - but I do know that OT doesn’t have DINsync option.
I just wasn’t aware that FF or QF belong only to MTC speaking
Never heard of that device, looks incredible

MIDI Timecode is entirely separate from MIDI clock.
MIDI Timecode is mostly used in a context where you need to synchronize with a video source when you’re doing TV or cinema post-production work.
I don’t think any of the Electron boxes support MTC.

infact it should work fine with midi clock…anyway.
Olivier, the guy behind this crazy piece of gear, is working on a beta firmware in order to obtain the features I need to implement it in my Octatrack+Analag4+Sherman+KaossPad3 setup.
He is fantastic!
