Microphone for Digitakt 2

Hi all,
Im using a Digitakt 2 with a Minilogue XD and Roland S1.
Ive got a Tascam model 12 as a mixer and I was thinking about experimenting with recording external instruments like a shaker, trumpet or acoustic guitar.

Do you guys have any recommendations for a microphone to use and how would I set this up?
I dont want it to be to expensive.

Hi everyone! so i’m looking for a ‘do it all’ microphone to record vocals/singing, but also instruments like hi-hats or a kick drum or shakers. I work in an untreated studio (a big room). What are your recommendations, preferrably under 500 bucks. Shure SM75b? EV-320? AKG-C214?

Best microphone for portable Digitakt setup

Hei, any suggestions for portable microphone setup for using with Digitakt? Trying to skip the bulky mic preamp. I tried AKG C1000s and it works but recordings are noisy (not enough gain to drive the A/D chip in DT?). Thanks!

No problem, hope you find something good. I watched a lot of @podcastage on youtube’s mic reviews last time I was mic shopping, he does some pretty comprehensive reviews and faceoffs between similar mics, as well as some shootouts between high priced and mid price mics. It was pretty educational.
