Micromonsta 2

DSI Tetra is another great example of this (though no onboard fx). Would pair great with a Micromonsta I reckon.

I didn’t gel with the sound, and I found editing really boring. Much better editing with MM1! Btw I sold it a few weeks ago, and it helped to fund the MM2!

Instead of a Tetra for a small poly analog synth, to complement an MM2, I’d rather consider a Tƶƶrƶ (4 parts, 6 voices iirc).

In the video they apparently don’t know if MM2 can be used with 12 voices :

MicroMonsta 2 can be used in 3 different ways :
• Monotimbral : As a 12-voice polyphonic synthesizer
• Bitimbral : As 2 different 6-voice polyphonic synthesizer (on 2 different MIDI channels)
• In combi mode, where you can stack, split or mult the 2 programs

I think they got there in the end. Eventually someone in the chat let them know.

I never heard of that, looks sweet!

Did anyone else who ordered get a confirmation that the order is on hold until it is confirmed that payment has been received?

I saw Audiothingies (@elektrosamplist) in comments precising it…

What’s that? I couldn’t hear you over my Mopho.

Yes indeed.
But now all orders should be in processing status.

I look forward to hearing all of you guys opinions on the MM2 when it arrives. I was tempted to buy it, but I resisted, as I’ve only just bought a Typhon.

I’ve been trying to resist the typhon. Considering swapping out my Sirin. Going to be trying out the MM2. Looking forward to it. They’d make a great pair.

I’m wondering how close to a Sirin sound I can get with the MM2…

Same here, at the moment, I have the Sirin, DSI Mopho and I ordered the Tƶƶrƶ.
Typhon was on the radar too, as was the MM2. But again, a lot of overlap between all these, so maybe it’s a good thing that MM2 and Typhon are sold out at the moment.

I guess we’ll have to see. Pretty different machines. Simple Analogue Mono vs. Digital Poly with lots of possible modulations. I’m sure the MM2 will sound good with simple patches, but I’m most excited to build some patches with lots of modulation.

just landed
Perfectly timed for the weekend .
First impression: sounds really really good. I’m definitely more impressed by this than I was with the arturia microfreak.
Haven’t tested it yet but from what I’ve heard so far it will work pretty well with the typhon…

Please provide more media to consume. I’ve probably watched that one demo video a hundred times.
