I’d even back a midi dongle thing that plugs into a din socket and is just a button - maybe a twist-to-latch design would be nice

I wonder if that would be possible with the retro kits RK002 cable ? I mean, the button would be something you’d need to add but it already has the processor to create midi signals, and you can change the firmware.

I don’t know if MM2 would give power to it.
Imho it would require extra power, hence complicated things with additional cables…
I could play MM2 with an iPhone + Camera kit.
Triggering directly from MM2 is the only interesting solution for me…

Woke up slightly early, checked email (I usually contemplate overnight student questions and answer after coffee), saw the MM notification from two hours previous, flung myself out of bed and went downstairs and ordered immediately.
I want MM to sell well but not so fast that someone misses out due to time zones or not looking at email right away. I feel sorry for those who are blocked from ordering due to political situations. In this world, that could easily be any of us outside France.

I have read the UK government documentation which is a bit clearer than what the carriers are saying about it. I believe we’re OK administratively speaking now.
I still think their rules are silly, they want to collect the VAT for low priced orders but don’t want to pay for it (they ask the sellers to do it, do you think chinese sellers will comply with that… I really doubt).
The funny thing is: by staying in the EU, that’s exactly what would have happened starting Q3 2021, as we will collect and pay country-based VAT for every EU country without silly price based threshold, and a similar process will happen for countries outside of the EU later I think.

Hi, I very much appreciate you sending to the UK again, thanks. Quick question - it states the price as 249.17 euro incl. Vat. Then it adds postage. So I’m at 271. 17 euro. But you said above that UK customers will have to pay VAT and customs handling on delivery. So will I be paying VAT twice?
