MicroFreak destroys itself?

Today my MicroFreak just doing this instead of generating any sound through main output or headphones. Removed USB and also tried a different power supply (same specs) without luck, always the same behavior.

Anyone experienced a similar issue?

…that freak does not compute anymore…because, it does not get enough power to do so, anymore…

not by any powersupply, but by it’s powersocket transistor chip thing of it’s mainboard…

back to arturia…

Thank you for the suggestions. With power over USB there was no flickering but also no sound. After turning it off an on again it stopped working completely.

So back it goes… what a pity, started to use it more often again in the last days. But it is still within warranty so should be a no brainer to send it back.

Original mission for today was introducing this new little thingy to my setup.

…sad story…they will simply rip out the whole circuit board and put a fresh one in…

Got my MF back today, they didn’t say what the issue was but they changed the whole mainboard. Works perfectly again :white_heart:

Already spent an hour just playing with the vocoder - so much fun

I had the same problem with mine. Two weeks after warranty expired. I’m really frustrated. Hopefully the repair cost won’t be anything exorbitant.

A while ago I had this same issue so I sent it back for a refund…

Let’s hope the best :crossed_fingers:. At least the they repaired it pretty quickly in my case.
