Metronome off Midi Clock

For a lot of years during my live gigs I used iConnectMIDI2+ to send the midi clock to Iphone and the yamaha metronome app that transformed the clock to the click that was sent to my drummer.
Right now it’s a problem, while the phones don’t have the headphone out (both lightning and headphone out is needed). I’ve tested the Boss DB 90 but sometimes it doesn’t synchronise accurately with OT, and I don’t know why. Sometimes it starts like in a half of a bar, or it halves the tempo. Is there any other way I can send the midi clock as metronome to the headphones of my drummer?

With any cheap drum sequencer with midi in.
With an OT midi track playing a click on any cheap midi expander.
With an older ithing.

I have another idea : use an USB camera kit, listening to the click with an audio class compliant device.

Luckily I have an Iconnectmidi2+ and a Zoom H2N so I can try.

I’m looking for as simple setup as possible, so maybe a small drum sequncer will be a solution. Thanks.
